Hon. Colonial Secretary,
Enclosure 1.
119
The Secretary of State says "it is only in
fees feel
case of difference (i.e. amongst the members of the Board) that the award of costs including these feste, becomes liable to review by the Registrar of the Supreme Court",
I respectfully submit that his bracketed
interpretation is not correct. I think it means that the Board awards costs and in case of a difference of opinion between the Crown and parties the costs are to be taxed by the Registrar
of the Supreme Court.
I have drafted a short bill to make it clear
that the words referred to differences between the parties.
